Cliff Witmyer, founder of Cliffhanger Productions, has been in the specialty entertainment field for over 25 years. A performer himself, Cliff's credentials include producing big-name musical acts such as Blue Oyster Cult, Twisted Sister and Fountains of Wayne, as well as musical groups of all types, from DJs to orchestras, to reggae and jazz. Not to mention female impersonators, tribute bands, celebrity impersonators, costume characters and comedians, all of which are part of Cliffhanger Production's complete entertainment repertoire.

As a clothing designer, Cliff Witmyer has designed for dozens of national acts, including Aerosmith, Iron Maiden and Bon Jovi. In the 1990s, Cliff created costumed characters for clients such as King's Supermarket, Wizard Comics, The New Jersey Nets and Johnson and Johnson. Recently, Cliffhanger has been the creative force behind French's popular "Mustard Man", making appearances in such venues as Madison Square Garden.

Over the years, Cliffhanger Productions has earned a reputation for outrageous concepts and reliable delivery. No request is too extreme, no deadline too tight for Cliffhanger Productions. Our full scale Prop Shop provides just the right accessory for that haunted house, Victorian Christmas Mansion or summer luau. Themed and seasonal events are a specialty for Cliffhanger Productions. "Scream in the Dark", a 7500-foot "chamber of horrors" which included state-of-the-art animatronics, 25 actors and special effects, was listed as one of the "10 most frightening Haunted Houses" by Haunted America USA in 2001.

In 1987, Cliff opened Fun Ghoul Costume Company, a full-service specialty theatrical costume source specializing in custom costumes, rare accessories, full theatrical makeup, prosthetics and special effects. Fun Ghoul's high-end rental department has over 5,000 theatrical and period costumes. And when it comes to dining, Cliffhanger's four-star catering can provide a delicious menu, designed especially for each memorable event.
